Calculated Fields

Mostly superseded. Prefer Rule Engine math / enrich nodes for new derived keys. Profile calculated-fields stages are retired from the product ingest path.

Historical note

Older docs described calculated fields as running after a data pipeline and before the rule engine. Current ingest order is:

rule engine → persist / realtime / profile Alarm Rules

Use the Rule Engine graph for transforms and derived values. Simple threshold alarms stay on the device profile Alarm Rules tab.
