EnergyFleet reference stack

Bench test

Primary path (P1 AVH + 4G DTU): bench tested. Other profiles (P2–P4): pending. Tracker: Validation status.

Fleet dashboard for 3-phase energy meters. Device type: energy_meter.

Dashboard spine: Solution dashboard template.

Telemetry contract

Keys consumed by EnergyFleet widgets (align published telemetry to these names):

KeyTypical unitSource (AVH-14-M1 manual)
active_power_kw_total, active_power_kw_l1…l3kWPer-phase and total active power
voltage_l1n … voltage_l3n, voltage_l12 …VL–N / L–L
current_l1 … current_l3, current_avgAPhase current
frequency_hzHz45–60 Hz band per meter spec
power_factor_avg, power_factor_l1…—0.1–1.0
energy_kwh_int, energy_kwh_frackWhInteger + fraction pair per AVH note
md_kw, load_hourskW, hDemand / run hours

Sample generators and alarms in Autoconnecto use field-realistic bands derived from the AVH-14-M1 Modbus map.

StepAction
1Install meter + CT/VT per AVH-14-M1 terminal diagram (mains work)
2RS485 A/B to DTU; baud 9600 8N1 (match meter menu)
3Create energygateway + child avh1 with AVH register map (see device guide)
4Configure DTU MQTT topics with gateway token

Wiring — P2 (ESP32 WiFi at panel)

Same RS485 to AVH; ESP32 replaces DTU for MQTT uplink on WiFi. Reuse register addresses from AVH device guide.

Autoconnecto checklist

  • [ ] Create gateway + child devices linked with parentDeviceId (Sample On demos this topology)
  • [ ] Child device type energy_meter
  • [ ] Modbus map matches AVH float CDAB addresses
  • [ ] Telemetry visible on child device, not only gateway
  • [ ] Optional hub health: publish gateway.heartbeat on the gateway token (no childDeviceId)
  • [ ] Gateway shows Active from hub heartbeat and/or any active child
  • [ ] Device retarget: dashboard EnergyFleet, state detail
