MQTT broker bridge
Subscribe Autoconnecto to an external MQTT broker so devices that already publish elsewhere appear as telemetry — without changing firmware.
In Autoconnecto
- Integrations → New integration → MQTT broker bridge.
- Set device matching (optional auto-create) and a transform preset.
- Enter:
- Broker URL (e.g.
mqtts://broker.example.com:8883) - Topic filter (e.g.
devices/+/telemetry) - Optional topic device regex with one capture group (e.g.
^devices/([^/]+)/) - Optional username / password
- Broker URL (e.g.
- Create, then Start the integration (the platform connects outbound to your broker).
Payload identity
Prefer JSON payloads that include deviceToken or externalDeviceId.
If those are missing, the topic capture group from topicDeviceRegex is used as the external id / DevEUI.
Linux helper (optional)
If you prefer an edge process that republishes into Autoconnecto token topics instead of the in-app bridge, see the SDK folder examples/integrations/mqtt-bridge/.
Verify
Publish a test message to the subscribed topic. Open the integration → Recent events for success, then check the device telemetry.
Script transform
On the detail page you can enable an optional JavaScript uplink transform for custom decoding after pipeline steps.
