Maps

Choose the default basemap for Map and Route widgets. Only the owner or an admin can change this.

Open Tenant Settings. Below Mail and SMS is Maps.

Autoconnecto does not sell map tiles. If you pick Google, you create the key and Google bills that project.

Google Maps setup

1. In Google Cloud Console, create or open a project.
2. Enable Map Tiles API (required for dashboard maps in Autoconnecto).
3. Create an API key. Restrict it by HTTP referrer to your app host, for example https://app.autoconnecto.in/* (and your custom hostname if you use white labeling).
4. In Tenant Settings → Maps, choose Google Maps, paste the key, and Save maps.

If the key is missing, wrong, or Map Tiles API is off, widgets fall back to OpenStreetMap and show a short warning on the map.

Per-widget override

On a Map or Route widget, Basemap can be:

• Tenant default — uses this page
• OpenStreetMap — force OSM for that widget
• Google Maps — force Google (still uses the tenant key)
• Custom MapLibre style URL — your own style JSON (MapTiler, self-hosted, and similar)

A style URL that was saved on older dashboards still works.

Shared dashboards

Public share links use the same tenant Maps setting so viewers see the same basemap. Restrict the Google key by referrer so it only works on your Autoconnecto app origin.
