Protected Accounts
Protected owner accounts have restricted editing and cannot be deleted.
Impersonation Availability
Login as User is available only for eligible active non-owner users and only when the current user has the required owner permissions.
Access Scope
A tenant owner or tenant admin can use the whole tenant. The asset, device, type, profile, and dashboard grants do not limit them.
A site user is limited to the assets, devices, device types, device profiles, and dashboards that are granted, including child assets under a site. Type and profile grants are live (new matching devices appear without re-edit). Fleet tools (integrations, scheduler, OTA, data generators, rule engines) stay with an admin, or with a user who has global device access. The user directory and the audit log stay with the owner and the admin.
